Saturday

Long Run:
16 miles in Boost4

Ran with wingo (Easter weekend so I went home). Started at Maymont and then went and did the loop from last week that went to River road. Good run. No knee pain during but some minor pain afterwards.

Friday

Training Run:
8 miles in Boost3

Ran with Adam, Logan, and Ethan. Did Medium MUD loop at normal practice time (didn't have official practice today). Was a really slow run but was good because of that.

Thursday #2

Workout:
10 miles total
6 in Boost4

Workout was 6x1000 in lane 1 with 3 minutes rest after each. K's went 3:02,2:57,56,55,54,58. Luke and I ran them together, we traded the lead every k and I started off the first one. He didn't feel too good at the end. I was hurting a little but not too much. Workout was weird cause it was so short. Pretty tough one though.

Thursday #1

Double:

Ran at about 8 am. Went straight from the dorm and ran like I did on Tuesday, same route. Good run, nice and chill. Hopefully this afternoon won't be too bad.

Wednesday

Training Run:
8 miles in Boost3

Ran Mud Medium with Trent and Sharkey. Ran kinda fast, about 6:40 pace for the whole run. I was a bit mad because coach was mad at me because of my grades and what not. Didn't kill myself on the run though because tomorrow is supposed to be a hard one.

Tuesday #2

Workout:
13 miles total
6 miles in Boost4

FESTIVAL!!!!!!! Except not really, festival is essentially 400s til you drop, this was just a variation of that. My workout was planned to be 3-4 sets of 8 400s in lane 1. It ended up being 3 sets plus two at the end of the third set. Pace goal was 72-74, hit 72s like clockwork. Only 6 times that weren't a 72 excluding number 26. Those that weren't 72 were under by a second or two, besides two of them that were 73s. Worked out all by myself because Adam had class conflict and Ethan's paces were too slow. Had 30 seconds rest between every rep and 5 minutes between sets. Ran the whole thing in Adios. After the last set coach said "30 seconds" which meant I had one more, hit 70. Then after that he said I had two more unless I broke 60 on that one..... So I ran 56. Went out in 27 and hoped I wasn't dying hard.

Great workout, wasn't very hard at all besides the 56. Got in a rhythm and just cruised from there. Sunny day and about 62 but with a cool wind coming down the far stretch. Good workout though, hopefully Thursday isn't too killer.

Tuesday #1

Double:
3 miles in Boost2

Got up and ran at about 8. Kept it chill. Legs felt good finally. Ice cupped my knee afterwards but didn't really have any pain.

Monday

Easy/off day:

Biked for 40 minutes today. Figured I should keep from too much pounding on my knee.

Ran alone at like 8 am. Good run, but had some poopin problems. Was sad at first but after the pooping dilemma it was good and I was rolling on the way back. Not much of knee problems this time.
