Saturday

Long Run:
14 miles in Boost5

Ran with small squad at 9. Had unofficial practice. Good run. Turned with everyone at 12 and then added on. Knee felt fine today. Had a little bit of soreness in my hamstrings and glutes and IT but it was fine once I got warmed up. Perfect weather, sunny and 58-63 degrees.

Friday

Training Run:
8 miles in Boost4

Ran MUD medium with the squad. Took a heat bath before hand which made my legs feel weird during the run. Also caused a lot of knee pain. Pretty crappy run.

Thursday

Workout:
12 miles total
6 miles in Boost5

Michigan. Today was a surprise Michigan style workout. This one was 2k, off track mile, mile, 5 minute jog, 1200, 3 minute jog + shoe change, 800, lap jog, 400. Paces were: 2k-75s, off track mile-5:30, mile-73s, 1200-71s, 800-69s, and 400 fast but even. Actual times were 6:08, 5:38 (Ethan's fault), 4:52, 3:33, 2:15, 56. Felt a tired, as I should, but I felt like everything was obtainable no matter how tired I got. Was a good workout, did exactly what I needed to. Ethan was assigned to run with me. He kept up for all but a few where he dropped off by a couple seconds. My knee was bothering me all day but was fine during the workout. Got in a little extra jogging before the cool down (was waiting for Flynn) so that got the total up to 12. Didn't get much sleep last night because I stayed up studying for my accounting test tomorrow. Definitely affected me a little. Overall it was a successful day.

Ran Lake Loop with pretty much the whole squad. Was a slowish run but my legs were hurting quite a bit so it was fine. Hopefully everything will feel good by tomorrow.

Tuesday

Workout:
12 miles total
6 in Boost5
Had a good workout today. Did 6xmile, off and on the track. Off the track were supposed to be 5:20-30 and on the track were supposed to be just under 5. Actual times were 5:30,4:50,5:08,4:50,5:07,4:49. Felt really good today. Only hard part was the wind on the backstretch of the track.

Monday

Easy day:
5 miles in Boost4
Ran backwoods 5 with most of the guys. Was a bit tiring though.

Long Run:
16 miles in Boost5

Ran alone again. Had Formal last night so everyone was on differing schedules. Ran at 11 am. Went Cemetery and towards Lake Accotink. Got all the way to the lake this time, really cool spot. Was very cold this morning, about 37 degrees. Ran with my phone so I could have music playing, was a good run.

Saturday

Training Run:
7 miles in Boost3

Ran by myself in the morning, went DOB. Was snowing right before I left but when I ran it never rained or snowed. Was very cold but wore my asics ran jacket so I got heated up pretty quick. Stomach wasn't feeling it so I had to take a pit stop in the middle at the port-a-john. Good run though, legs felt nice.

Friday

Workout:
9 miles in Boost5

Ran Lake Loop with Adam for the workout. Had to do a 40 minute fartlek of our choice, just had to total 40 minutes. We took the easy route and did 4x5 minutes on/off. Was actually a good workout. Legs finally felt recovered and so we cruised at a decent pace the whole time. Okay weather, was a really cold wind. Had someone shoot a gun nearby us on the way to the lake, was very curious as to why that happened, especially for where we were at in the woods.

Thursday

Training Run:
7 miles in Boost4

Was going to go 8 but had some stomach issues at the end so I cut it short. Ran with pretty much the whole squad. Was a good run. Had to out run the rain at the end. Was a bit warmer today but nothing too nice.

Wednesday

Workout:
10 miles in Boost5

Ran DOB for the workout. Was just me and Adam. We did 15x1 minute on/off. It was super slow, and when I say that I mean like nothing was under 6 minute pace. We were feeling pretty tired not gonna lie. Also was kinda cold today, about 48 degrees.

Tuesday

Longer Training Run:
9 miles in Boost4

Ran Mud long with most of the squad today. Felt pretty tired and my thoughts started going a little bit crazy about 2 miles in. Definitely not recovered yet... Also during the run I had to do 6x30 second pickups towards the end.

Monday

Easy/off Day:

Took an off day today because I figured it would be my last for the season. Roe the bike for about 30 minutes. Not gonna lie, I genuinely felt tired riding the bike and I wasn't even pedaling hard.
