Saturday

Long Run
14 miles in Boost5

Ran at 6:30 am with Paul up at the apartment. Was supposed to do a tempo but we were talking about stuff and getting fired up so we almost tempo'd the whole thing. Was a good run catching up with him. Went longer than I planned but it was fine. Started off hurting cause I never get up that early but once I woke up it was fine.

Ran in the morning but started late so only got to do 5 miles. Also struggled with motivation. Bad run

Thursday SWO

Secondary Workout
10 miles in Boost5

Ran at battlefields in the morning by myself. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to do a medium long run or a training run so I did a training run. Did an eight mile out and back, ran to where John used to live and back. Got back and did strides on the grass loop in the big field by the entrance. Did 3 strides around the loop, distances varied. Totalled 10 strides and a short cool down. Good secondary Workout, didn't check to see what I was supposed to do so I just guessed.

Ran in the morning before work at home. Was planning on doing a double but work went really late like last week so I decided against it. Tough to get moving this morning

Tuesday PWO

Primary Workout
12 miles in Boost5

Ran after work and after the crazy storms at Lee Davis. Did 3 mile warm-up to spring meadows where I did 2 sets of 15 minutes at moderate pace with 4 minutes of recovery in between. Gifts 15 was a tad slow but I wanted it to be, hit around the 5:40s. Second 15 was faster but about 10 seconds for the pace. Both felt controlled and substantial. Possibly could have pushed harder. Did a cool down that was a bit over 3 so that I hit 12 for the day.

Monday

8 miles in Boost4

Ran at the battlefields after work. Did the 7 mile loop plus some on the end. Decent run.

Boost4: 21 miles ==> 377 miles

Boost5: 28.5 miles ==> 314 miles

Ran with Jack at the battlefields in the morning. Both if us were feeling tired so we did a painful 6.

Saturday

Long Run
12 miles in Boost5

Ran at the Battlefields in the morning by myself. Did the out and back down crown hill but with some extra in the park. No tempo this week. Good run though

Friday #2

Short Training Run + Strides
5 miles in Boost4

Ran in the evening. Did an easy 3 miles plus a 6 200 meter strides and a 1.25 mile cool down. Was a good double, legs felt pretty good and got some good turnover going.
