Friday

Easy Run:
3ish miles in Boost5

Ran with Marcus and Austin at 11 am. Felt pretty shitty once again while running so I stopped at 3ish. Was coughing a ton and had a burning sensation all down my neck and into my lungs. No fever today. Also decided to take off completely tomorrow.

Thursday

Training Run:
7 miles in Boost4

Ran with Trent and Jonnny. Was trying to see how I felt before leaving for Duke to see if I would be well enough to go or not. Had felt pretty good all day but I decided to check after I ran. The run straight up sucked! Coach decided I should stay home and rest the weekend. Was a good idea because my fever spiked up again after the run. Pretty sad I didn't get to go to Duke and get IC4A's in the 5k with my boy Adam.

Wednesday

To start off, woke up this morning with a 101 fever. Took some meds and skipped class, got some mucinex from Giant because it seemed like a lot of congestion in my chest.

Checked in with Chris before practice, said that it is "most likely allergies" but I'm pretty sure I can't get allergies from my girlfriend. He told me to go ahead and run. Coach got me to warm-up and see how I felt. I felt like I could run but I was coughing a lot. Coach decided to not have me workout and told me to go run 10-15 more minutes. Finished off and got out of there to take a nap. Felt pretty crappy the rest of the evening but no fever.

Tuesday

Training Run:
8 miles in Boost4

Had a little bit of a cough all day today. Had some bad allergies last night so I took a Benadryl but the cough was still there this morning. Felt super bad on the run today, was tired and just felt like straight up shit. Afterwards I could tell I was getting sick so I left practice quickly so I cold get some rest before night class. Took a good nap before class and woke up feeling fresh but definitely sick, thinking it is possibly a chest cold. Went to class because I thought we had two quizzes, jokes on me cause we had none and I read the dates wrong. So basically suffered through class, hopefully will feel better tomorrow.

Monday

Workout:
10 miles total
6 in Boost5

Workout was super short and pretty easy. We did 4xlane 8's, then 1000 @ 2:54, then 4xlane 8's, then finished it off with another 1000 @ 2:54. Did the lane 8's with Stu's group, was hitting average of 74 on first set and 71-72 for the second set. Workout was super easy except for that it was hot today. Temperature was about 82 degrees, warmest weather we have had thus far. Good easy workout to get ready for Duke.

Ran by myself at around 11 am. Ran to Lake Loop and back so it was a little over 6. Felt pretty tired, probably because I didn't get much sleep last night. Thought I was going much faster than my time told me but oh well. Was an Easy/TR day but I didn't want to make it easy so I did a short TR.
